Our Story
Empowering Women, One Thread At a Time
Ethnyk Dori was born from a simple belief — that craft can create dignity, independence, and opportunity. What began as a shared love for Indian textiles soon grew into a deeper purpose: to preserve heritage while empowering women through meaningful work.
Today, Ethnyk Dori works closely with women artisans and makers in Chhattisgarh, creating opportunities that support livelihoods, celebrate skill, and honour tradition. Every saree we curate carries not just a story of craft, but a story of confidence, independence, and pride.
Our Misssion
At Ethnyk Dori, our mission begins with respect — for craft, for culture, and for the people behind it all.
We are here to preserve India’s rich textile and artistic heritage, not as something frozen in the past, but as a living, breathing tradition. We work closely with women and artisans, creating opportunities that lead to dignity, independence, and long-term livelihoods.
Through our sarees, jewellery, and thoughtfully curated events, we strive to offer experiences that feel luxurious yet rooted — modern in spirit, traditional at heart. Above all, we are building a brand that stands for pride, purpose, and genuine connection — between the maker and the wearer, the story and the soul.
Our Vission
We envision Ethnyk Dori as a global voice of Indian elegance — a brand that carries our country’s stories across borders, where every creation reflects heritage, empowerment, and artistry, woven together with intention.
Meet The Founders
Ethnyk Dori is shaped by two women, two very different journeys, and one shared belief — that India’s heritage is not meant to be preserved behind glass, but lived, worn, and passed on.
What began as a simple meeting over sarees grew into a shared vision: to build a brand that honours craft, uplifts women, and creates something meaningful for the modern world. Together, we bring tradition and creativity into conversation — with respect for where we come from and clarity about where we are going.
Manju Devi
Co-Founder | Chief Heritage Officer
Deeply rooted in India’s cultural fabric, Manju Devi brings authenticity, resilience, and wisdom to Ethnyk Dori. At 59, with her children grown and independent, she chose to begin her second innings — one driven by purpose and passion.
Her understanding of traditional crafts and grassroots artistry guides Ethnyk Dori’s ethical sourcing and artisan relationships. Manju is deeply committed to empowering women, especially homemakers and rural artisans, by creating opportunities for financial independence through skill-based work.
Her presence grounds the brand — ensuring that every creation carries soul, not just style.
Monika Jain Motwani
Co-Founder | Chief Creative & Strategy Officer
Monika brings vision, structure, and storytelling to Ethnyk Dori. With a professional journey spanning IT, HR, Travel, and Public Relations, she blends strategic thinking with artistic sensitivity.
As the founder of Melody Eventz, she has curated meaningful experiences across India — experiences that balance aesthetic precision with emotional depth. In 2025, she expanded her entrepreneurial journey as Director at Bhagva Future Ventures, supporting innovation and business excellence.
At Ethnyk Dori, Monika leads creative direction, digital growth, and long-term strategy — shaping a brand where every saree, jewel, and experience tells a story worth remembering.
A Note from the Founders
Ethnyk Dori is our love letter to India.
"Through sarees that carry stories, jewellery that reflects artistry, and experiences that turn moments into memories, we create with intention and heart. Every piece is rooted in heritage, shaped by human hands, and meant to be part of someone’s journey."
Thank you for walking alongside us — for choosing meaning over trends, and stories that only grow richer with time.
With gratitude,
Manju Devi & Monika Jain Motwani

OUR DIVISION
Sarees — Timeless Elegance
Our sarees celebrate India’s glorious textile heritage — from Banarasi and Kanchipuram to Patola, Pashmina, Mulumul cotton sarees, and regional crafts. Thoughtfully curated and often handwoven, each piece is reimagined for the modern woman.
These are sarees meant to be worn slowly, cherished deeply, and passed on with stories.
Events — Unforgettable Experiences
Ethnyk Dori Saga curates wedding and corporate events that blend creativity with class. Rooted in the legacy of Melody Eventz, our event arm specialises in designing bespoke experiences — where every detail is intentional and every moment feels personal.
From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, we craft stories that live on in memory.
Jewellery — Adorned in Heritage
Our jewellery reflects the soul of Indian artistry — from Kundan, Polki, and Meenakari to contemporary fusion designs. Each piece is crafted for women who value grace, individuality, and meaning.
These are not ornaments to simply wear — they are stories to experience.
